DAD:  EQ or emotional intelligence, is being able to recognize, understand and manage your emotions and the emotions of others.

DAD: Empathy, understanding and positive encouragement are the foundations from which to teach people.

DAD: Very good. Remember, it is just as important to learn what NOT to do from others as much as what to do.

DAD: I don’t buy that. What I’m hearing is that “I don’t want to make the time.” If it’s important to you than you will find the time.

DAD: There’s so much about this life we don’t understand. Be humble.

DAD: You might know a lot. But just like Socrates, who believed he knew nothing, you and I also know nothing at all. So we have to keep learning.

DAD: First step. Become self aware and open about your inadequacies and areas of development.

DAD:  It’s not about how much you do each day, but rather how you reduce the unessential very day. Less is more.

DAD:  If the only acceptable result is perfection, you’re setting yourself up for fair failure.

DAD: Debt isn't a goal, it's what's standing in the way.
